What you can do

Everything below is part of storek today, in the same system as your sales and your stock.

  • A cashier screen made for speed A full screen made for the keyboard and the barcode scanner. Add items, change a quantity, give a discount and ring the sale.
  • Cash registers and shifts Each cashier opens a shift on a register with an opening amount. At closing the system shows the expected cash and the difference.
  • Customers at the counter Attach a customer to the sale or sell to a walk-in. Their purchases and balance are kept in their file.
  • Returns that put stock back A return brings the goods back into the warehouse and refunds the customer, with the accounts corrected for you.
  • Quotations that become invoices Send a priced offer, then turn the accepted one into a sale invoice with one action.
  • Price lists and discounts Keep retail, wholesale or VIP price lists, and follow every discount: who gave it, to whom and how much.

How it works with the rest of storek

One action, and the rest of the system follows on its own.

  1. You ring the sale The cashier scans the items and takes the payment.
  2. Stock goes down Every item leaves the branch warehouse at once.
  3. The accounts are posted Revenue, cost and cash are recorded in balanced entries.
  4. The shift adds it up The register shows the cash it should hold when the shift closes.

Questions and answers

Short answers in plain words. Did not find yours? Write to us.

Ask our team
Does the point of sale work with a barcode scanner?

Yes. Scan a product and it goes straight into the cart. You can also search by name.

Can I give a discount at the counter?

Yes. Give a discount on a line while selling. The discounts report shows every discount and who gave it.

Does it print a receipt?

Yes. Every sale ends with a receipt you can print for the customer.

What is a cash register in storek?

A register is a till at a branch, tied to the cash account its money lives in. Cashiers open their shifts on it.

What is a shift?

A shift is one cashier session on a register. It starts with an opening amount and closes with the counted cash.

How does the system know how much cash should be in the drawer?

It adds the opening amount and cash sales, then takes away cash returns and cash expenses of the shift.

What happens if the drawer is short or over?

At closing you enter the counted cash, and the system saves the difference so you can see it later.

Can I sell to a customer without creating a file?

Yes. Sell to a walk-in customer, or attach a customer when you want the sale in their file.

Can the cashier change the price?

Prices come from the price list of the branch. The totals are always worked out by the system, never typed by hand.

Can different branches have different prices?

Yes. Each branch reads its own price list, such as retail, wholesale or VIP.

How do I handle a returned item?

Record a sale return. The item goes back into the warehouse and the refund is paid from the account you choose.

Can a return be made without the original invoice?

Yes. You can link a return to its invoice or record it on its own.

Can I make quotations for customers?

Yes. A quotation is a priced offer. When the customer accepts it, convert it into a sale invoice.

Does a quotation reduce my stock?

No. A quotation is only an offer. Stock moves when the invoice made from it is completed.

Are point of sale sales and back office invoices the same?

Yes. Both are sale invoices in the same list, so your reports show every sale together.

When does a sale touch my accounts?

When it is completed. The revenue and the cost of the goods are posted in balanced entries at that moment.

How is the profit of each sale worked out?

Each line keeps the item cost at the time of the sale, so the profit of every invoice is exact.

Can I take more than one payment method?

Yes. Every payment is recorded with its method and the account the money went into.

Can a customer reserve goods with a deposit?

Yes. A reservation holds the goods for the customer, and the deposit is kept until the sale is made.

Does reserved stock stay available to others?

No. Reserved quantities are held back, so the same unit cannot be sold twice.

Which devices can I sell from?

The cashier screen runs in the web browser on a computer, a laptop or a tablet.

Can I sell on installments from the counter?

Yes. Complete the sale, then spread it over months in the installments feature.

Do online orders appear with shop sales?

Yes. The online store and the counter share the same products, stock and sales records.

Who can see the sales of each cashier?

Every sale keeps its cashier and shift, so managers can review each person and each register.
